Christmas wishlist

Your Christmas wishlist — online, with one link for the whole family

Write down what you'd like and send one link to the family group. Grandma, uncle and godmother reserve quietly — you see none of it, and nothing under the tree comes twice.

Your Christmas wishlist in three steps

  1. 1

    Add your wishes

Three lines are enough to start — with a link to the shop if you like. You can add more right up to Christmas Eve.

  2. 2

Send the link to the family group

One link for everyone. Looking needs no account; whoever wants to give signs in briefly and reserves.

  3. 3

    Nothing twice under the tree

Until Christmas you won't see who reserved what. Afterwards you can look — and say thank you.

What makes it a Christmas list

Start here and “Christmas” is already set as the occasion — with date, countdown and a festive look. None of it needs setting up.

Countdown to Christmas

The shared list says “34 days to go until 25 December”. The family knows how long they have to decide.

Fir green instead of everyday

Your list and the shared page wear the Christmas look — and so does the link preview in WhatsApp and the like.

The surprise stays

Reservations and the givers' group chat stay invisible to you — until the day after Christmas.

Tidy up after the holidays

Tick off what arrived and see who it was from — handy for thank-you messages. The list is then ready for next year.

A wishlist for everyone at the table

Each person gets their own list, all links go into the same group. Nobody buys twice — and nobody has to ask in the chat.

For the kids

Parents enter the wishes and send the link to grandparents and godparents. The kids don't see the reservations — Santa stays in the game.

For your partner

No more “so what would you like?” on 20 December. The link says it — with picture, approximate price and shop.

For grandma and grandpa

Nobody needs an account to look: open the link, see the wishes. To claim a gift, a code by email is enough — no password, no app.

For the whole family

Several lists, one group: everyone sends their link, everyone reserves on the others'. What's already taken is visible to all — except the person who gets it.

Common questions about the Christmas wishlist

How much does it cost?

Nothing. ShineLists is free, all features included — hosted on servers in Germany, without tracking cookies.

Do I have to set the occasion myself?

No. If you start from this page, “Christmas” and the date are set for you. You can change both at any time in the sharing box — to 24 December, say, if your family exchanges gifts on Christmas Eve.

Does my family need an account?

Not to look: anyone with the link can see the list. To claim a gift, people sign in quickly — with Google, Apple or a code by email, no password. That way nobody can pose as a guest and peek at what's already taken — not even you.

Will I see who reserved what?

Not before Christmas, and that's on purpose. From the day after, you can look up who promised you what — the givers know that in advance.

Can I make a wishlist for my child?

Yes. Enter the wishes in your account and send the link to the family — your child doesn't need an account and sees none of the reservations. Each account has exactly one wishlist; for several children, create one account each.

Which shops can I add wishes from?

Any. A wish gets on the list via link, search or photo — you're not tied to one retailer and can add the small shop around the corner just like the big one.

What happens after Christmas?

The link stays. You tick off what arrived, see who it was from — and with one tap the next occasion is set: a birthday, or Christmas next year.

What if the link ends up in the wrong hands?

Switch it off with one click or generate a new one — the old link stops working immediately. Reservations already made are not lost.
